An opportunity knocks
for us to close the doors
on the rest of the world
cocoon us in a love
that we birthed long ago
melt into one another
let sensibilities die
senses come alive
give up form
mould into each other
dissolve into one shape
give us wings of freedom
slowly at first
let’s shed our skin
lose our inhibitions
then when you’re deep enough
to feel the euphoria within
let’s exhilarate
the colors of passion
until united
we metamorphosize
perish as you and me
reborn as one
complete
and there, somewhere
behind closed doors
let us live this miracle
just this once.
